the thing that gets me is if you had your children out of school for any time then you would have the education board on your backs as quick as you can say school but when they decide they want a day off or have a teacher training day the whole country has to stop for them.

talk about double standards.

What with all the holidays teachers get they ought to be dragged into work.

I was speaking to the deputy head of Alex's school today and he was telling me that the main reason that schools cannot open is due to health and safety reasons concerning the pupils.

The main reason ours did not open on 2 days this week was the concern of transporting the bulk on the children into school by busses as one of the busses of the company they used had skidded on a patch of ice on one of the days and hit 3 kids waiting to get on the bus luckly none of them were seriously hurt but you can imagine what could have happened. Also the kids that go to Alex's school come from all over the county and that had to be taken into account to as there was a concern that some may have struggled getting home etc...

But to make up for it they have extra homework......

speak for ya self bro the bloody snow driving me crackers was all lovely to look at for the first couple of days but now im sick of it its cold slushy and gave me the right hump when kids were off coz they were board i have become a hermit cant go far coz roads been so bad and i cant drive in snow i poop me pants lol cant wait for some warm weather now.summer summer summer summer we better get a good one after this weather!

Well ive got a brilliant day today as all the electric is being turned off at work and i am there on my own other than the contractors. No heating either GOD I GO IN THE DAK I COME HOME IN THE DARK AND I AM KEPT IN THE DARK.

ok thats it im truly cheesed off and stressed out now my hubby may be losing his job tomorrow this is a job that he took in promise of better pay and future prospects just for it to be one big head ache never paid right ended up more skint than his last job and been nothing but trouble add to that a diet and pmt its not a good combo cant wait for saturday just to get out for a bit heeeeeeelp i need kind words of reasurance x

Well i arrived at home at 22.35 after being there sice 730am loads of hassle when electric came back on.

Jesus that is some long hours i get fed up after about five at uni.

well ian had to leave his job so now on look out for something else got a few interviews set up already so fingers crossed that all goes to plan things can now only get better thanx all x dawn hope all goes ok for you at docs best wishes x x x and lee hope work a little better for u today cant believe you stayed so late when most peeps would have thought "stuff it." thats dedication lol.
