History of the pub.

The history of this place is quite hard to get your hands on but one thing we do know is that there has been an ale house here for some 600 years.Before that time there was a well populated area around this place and it was just outside the Abbey walss so this would have been the most frequented place around the outskirts of the Abbey.
The pub has past through many owners since but all have reported paranormal activity especially in the cellar area.
