Morpheus, the God of Dreams, is the son of Hypnos, god of sleep, and the grandson of Nox, goddess of night. Morpheus is one of the earliest Titans and the ancient god of dreams.

Morpheus is the ancient Greek god of dreams. He had two gates of horn and ivory, through which true and false dreams were sent. Morpheus could take on any human form and entered people's sleep to give them dreams ranging rom creative visions to scary nightmares. He is highly associated with dreams about sexual intimacy and love. When a person awoke feeling happy, having dreamt of a loved one, or feeling sexy after an erotic dream, this was the influence of Morpheus.

Morpheus is similar to the archangels in many ways, as like them, he fulfils a specific role and he is often viewed as being winged. The dreams Morpheus sends are thought to be messages, from the gods or from your subconcious, whichever you choose to believe.
