The language of dreams is made up of information collected by your senses in your waking life, presented in a new way. The subconscious mind usually presents dream information in a visual way.
The imagery of dreams can be interpreted in two ways:
1. Literal - where information in your dreams has a direct parrallel to everyday life.
2. Symbolic - information in dreams is 'coded' in an unusual way. For example, being able to fly often represents freedom or release from the daily grind rather than literally being able to fly.
