Im walking from nottingham to leicester for charity on sunday, I think I may end up unable to move by tues as its going to take us 2 days.

thanks everyone for the get well wishes, am feeling much better than i did at the weekend - i'm no longer close to passing out, thank goodness. Just feel worn out, so am back on the energy tonic (as Jack calls it).

Hey Tots didnt know you were doing a sponsored walk - what charity is it for & where's the form??? Smile

Hi just got back from pre school, 25 kids so excited to see me they all tried to sit on my knee at once, haven't seen them for 3 weeks, it was brill love them all, put a huge smile on my face. Very Happy

Strange as they all did as i asked for the first time ever.

Hi all. Thankyou for your support. Only got the sponsor form today as I have been off work for a week and forgot to get it before.
We ( 6 of us) are walking from nottingham John Lewis to Leicester John Lewis on sunday, with a stopover at Quorn grange hotel ( all welcome to meet us there for a drink and moral support lol) continuing on the monday.Its for the "contact the elderly" charity, which is JL's charity this year. So far I have the grand sum of about £15, Im useless at asking for sponsors Rolling Eyes

Still, it is something and I am always gratefull to whoever does sponsor me, especially as its such a tough time for everyone. Im going to sponsor the organser, so I feel as though im "doing my bit", although, 27ish miles of walking is definately doing that lol

If anyone would like to sponsor me, pls pm me with amounts and full names so I can add it to my form. (I will be drumming up sponsors for race for life in july too(sorry) - max and mandy, i will sponsor you both, plus anyone else doing it)

I am now going over to the woes and troubles thread for some much needed sympathy cos I feel horrible.

a few years ago, i did the Walk of Life (Rainbows) 15 miles around Leicester, which was great fun, am sure you'll have a great time and do well, I just hope the stop over doesnt put you on off doing day 2 Exclamation
