Hello people..how are we all? All is well here..had an awful couple of days but forced myself into the library today to do some work Good for me. To be honest though, I've been here an hour now and have checked out facebook, hotmail, youtube and this forum..lol..so much for work!! Can't WAIT for the 28th! I'm having withdrawals!!

Hope everyones ok?

Im still recovering from my trip up north at the weekend, after all the snow we had i managed to go head over foot in the middlw of a car park in Glasgow and there wasn't a hint of snow around.typical !!!

Nice to see new people around hope to hear from you more and maybe bump into you on future investigations.

Well I had better dash as my little one is trying to destroy the bedroom he has hit the terrible two's i think only he's two months early!

It was really good and im now going to start a course on Dementia and hopefully go to do other things.
I really enjoy that side of my job.

Glad you enjoyed your training craze, hopefully i'll be doing that training soon, looking forward to the dementia one as well.
i love the 3 hr ones...especially when you end up finishing in two!

The family night ghost night was good. Bec and her friend really enjoyed it. hopefully joe will come too next time we go

Right, I MUST speak of what has just happened to me, because I'm thinking it is pretty cool and maybe would like some feedback off peeps or summat. Bear with me though as there is a bit of background story to tell first (hope it doesn't bore you!):
A few years back I was really ill in many ways and ended up in hospital with pneumonia. Now a few days prior to this, I really started to get into Wicca and become even more spiritual than I had been prior to this. I started making an alter and getting crystals, a singing bowl and bits and bobs I could afford. I started trying to meditate, not really knowing what I was doing but just trying to relax etc.. anyway, I did it a few times and was pretty pants at it, but this one time I tuned into something so deep..had no thoughts and time just flooded on by for about an hour or so. I remember coming around feeling incredibly revitilised and exhausted, but calm and happy. I have never concentrated enough since to repeat this. Anyway, one of my best friends has another best friend who reads runes, so the day after I had them read by him and lots of interesting and true stuff came out there - including apparently a couple of gifts which I apparently possess, but to this day have yet to be able to use - one being able to 'speak to the dead'..? Now, I then ended up in hospital. Besides having pneumonia, I was almost going nuts and having many panic attacks etc.. things were not good. The best friend I mentioned, came to visit and brought me some books and a couple of crystals as a gift. I started reading the book (it was a Wiccan one), and placed the crystals (Dragon's something or other was one of them) next to my hospital bed. I started having a terrible night. I was agitated, distraught etc..my world seemed to be ending and I felt so so low. I fell asleep. I had a dream. A dream which to this day I still don't think was a dream..more a vision. Soomething was just different about it that makes me be able to say that:
I was surrounded by dark, evil spirits. Clouds of nastiness..it was scary and horrid. They or 'it' lifted me, by the arms..up into the black sky. It was taking me. Then something grabbed my legs and just would NOT let me go. They pulled and pulled and would not let this 'thing' take me. The darkness released its grip and I fell to earth. It was a woman who was grabbing me. I was on the ground in green green grass and she went over to read a book of love verses I had written. I watched as she flicked through and then muttered that I was psychic and she went through the 'same thing'. It was bright and warm all around. She went into a house and I went over to pick up the book and see what she was reading - it was a positive love verse and said I was going to love again.

You may wonder how I remember this in such detail, well I have kept a detailed journal for many years now. My point is, I have always wonddered who she was but have always felt like she saved me in some way.

This is leading onto what has happened tonight:

I decided to try a bit of relaxation/meditation etc..whatever you want to call it. Have not tried it for some time. Anyway, I set up my alter and had difficulty at first. It took a while and I found it hard to concentrate and stop thinking as such (as I always do). Eventually, I saw a bridge..and old stone bridge, running water - clear. And a house, with a well and bucket out back. Fields of corn and animals - like a farm. It was a nice place and reminded me afterwards of the place in my previous dream/vision. Almost like it was the back of the house the lady went into. I wasn't seeing things all that well and had trouble maintaining my concentration but a woman came to me. I swear she was the same as the one from years ago. I could not see her properly. Cannot describe her. but there was something warm and familiar about her. I think I was trying too hard and couldn't focus on her face so was about to go, but then I started to get emotional and tears came down my face for no reason at all. I felt like she spoke to me. I asked her her name. I couldn't 'get' it. But could get a letter 'C'. After a few minutes, there seemed to be a horse involved, which I think she rode, but I could see no more of her and still couldn't describe her. I thought to go again, as I was losing concentration..then got the name: Christine. I THINK it was Christine.

Perhaps this woman is my spirit guide??

fraid i dont mean anything too exciting just that i dont know what's gonna happen at belgrave, tho from what i've heard about the place it's gonna be fab.

I ain't got a clue either. I refuse to look at the Belgrave thread or read up anything about it before I go Hope it's as good as Guildhall was last time

Very interesting Muse and she could well be your spirit guide.I know you will enjoy belgrave as we have had some wicked nights there.

ooh i do lol one of my neighbours told me that his friend had been there on an investigation and had to have counselling afterwards!
