hi all - thanks for your kind thoughts etc - a really interesting and emotional morning. found out things about my family i never knew - although most of it is to do with my grandfather who died in france at the end of the second world war - quite weird how history repeats itself. my mother and aunt grew up not knowing their father and i grew up not knowing my mother. ive found out my mothers birthday, 10th April - something really i should have been told years ago! also that the only arguments my parents really had were over moi!(suprise, suprise) my dad didnt want any more children but my mather desperately wanted another(me) and she won - my aunt is convinced that my mother knew then that things with her were not right and she wanted to leave the family a special gift - which was me - a really nice thought but iam not totally convinced.

thanks peeps - my father admitted just a few weeks before my wedding 14 yrs ago that had never actually wanted me but he gave into my mother as she did ,it was my stepmother who told me this and my father admitted what she said but he says now that with what happened to my mother a year later he was glad he had given in to her - what my aunt said today to me was that my mother really fought with my father over the issue - it made an emotional morning even more emotional as i now know that i wasnt a 'mistake' or a 'lets have another baby just for the sake of it' - she really really wanted another child and i can honestly say that i dont think i have ever felt that loved before - i just hope i have become someone she can be proud of as i am sure she is watching over me and my family.

oh my god i'msobbing now!!!!!!!!! and dont worry tots i have to do an after school club - havent decided yet - might be scrabble club again.

not necessary but thankyou anyway! its been one of those funny days - even cried at the washing powder add when a robot becomes a little boy and before you all start jumping to conclusions about my hormones being all over the place i can definately say I AM NOT PREGNANT!!!!!! JUST MIDDLE AGED!!!!
