Hellloooo Everybody,

Well i am back from 2 lovely weeks in devon and i can honestly say there was only one really crappy day where it rain and i mean really rained all day so that we could not do anything outside.

But you will be proud of me I did manage to go to a few ghostly places while on holiday and they were the ..........

Guildhall at Totnes which is haunted and i did manage to take a few pics there.

Totnes Castle - noises are heard when no one is around.

Overbeck which is a national trust house and grounds and the house is haunted but you are not allowed to take photos but part of the house is used as a youth hostle so maybe a summer trip next year for a long week end to do some of the ghsot sites????????

Dartmouth Castle - second most haunted castle in Devon, we went into one part of the castle and it did not feel nice at all and my youngest Zach became very upset and kept demanding to be taken out and absolutely freak when i went down a passageway. But he was very happy in the rest of the castle. - Have taken pics.

and lastly Berry Pomeroy Castle - Devons most haunted castle, a place i would love to do a ghost watch at apparently they do one a year here, while walking around with the family looking for dragons (don't ask) the place felt very calm but in certain parts of the ruins you did feel like someone was watching you. Have taken pics here too.

Lee, will try and down load the camera by the end on the week and send you the pics for you to have a look at.

Zach's experience sounds like one I had when visiting a castle called the Rock of Cashel in southern Ireland a few years ago. Was fine until I went in one part and then I felt so badly that I wasn't supposed to be there that I had to go. I made the family leave the whole place.

So reassure him from me he's not the only one who doesn't get on well in big scary castles and pass on a hug for being so brave and sticking it out which I didn't.

had another fun day making puppets and backdrops at the Guildhall. Jack enjoyed it there today. Though when sitting in the Great Hall watching puppet show he kept looking behind to the stairs, but wouldnt say why?

also, lee how do you get to the top of the Guildhall, hadnt noticed windows up so high before ??? whats up there, can we go up there on the Ghost nights??

No sorry to say but that is the attic where the police officers used to stay.

The company my hubby works for has paid for a 4 course meal and a hotel room for the night for there christmas party. Its to be held at Colwick Hall hotel in Nottingham. Ive been told its haunted. Does anyone know anything about the place
