OUIJA BOARDS

Have you ever used one and what do you think happens.

Do you believe they work or not?

Are they just a game or a devils tool?

Im interested to know how the uija board is different to 'glass divination'. They both involve a glass, a table and questions.

Like most people I experienced uija board as a teenager. This invovled a glass and the letters of the alphabet spread out around the glass with the addition of a 'yes' and a 'no'. I was convinced all of my friends moved the glass and so I set up a board on my own and gave it a go. Silly really as I hadnt got a clue what i was doing and was inviting anything and everything to come and visit me. The moment I asked a question, the glass moved... I was scared to death at the realisation that it was really happening. I jumped up and knocked the table flying.. I spent the next few weeks worrying that I had let the spirit out as I had been told the glass trapped the spirit inside it and lifting it up before the spirit had gone was not good.

Saturday night at Belgrave was the first time since that I have seen anything like this happen again.

I have done ouija boards on a few occasions and they never cease to amaze me, Had some really good and bad experiences with them as well.
Trying to get Jayne to let me buy one off Ebay at the minute but she aint having none of it, Not given up hope just yet though.

A true ouija board uses a planchette instead of a glass and a set of letters and words.Do not confuse the two issues.

Thanks, that exlpains my confusion.

Nat invested in a Ouiji board a while ago and weve done it a few times now. The strange thing about hers is that whlst the planchette will move without Nats finger on, it tends to make more sense through her energy. Do you think this is an indication of her pyschic abilities?

Also, it has been right about a few things, but then it has been seriously wrong about a few things too, so for anyone trying it, I would say dont rely on the things it says too much. Definately a form of communcation though, right or wrong.

This is the problem with ouija you are not sure what spirit you are talking to.
You may have a spirit that you know and can trust but then you can have a spirit that you think you are communicating with but it is another spirit tricking you.

The reason why it will move more with nats finger on is because it is said but not proven that the person who the board belongs to has a major influence over it and spirit will communicate at stronger levels with them around.

That does make alot of sense actually the board actually seems to listen to me over others too Im the main person who if a spirit is around that we are not wanting to talk too i.e Evil or nasty I am the one who puts there foot down and says "no we are not talking to you leave" and it does seem to have an effect. A word to the wise if doing a board always open and close a board the same as you would when doing an investigation this is so no little spirit nasty gets stuck in your home. I can honestly say We have had nothing of the sort when using mine and I think alot of bad exp come from teenagers who are not really aware of what they are dealing with. We took advice from Lee before buying one Id def do your research 1st they are not a game or a toy I def believe that much.
