I have been here for a day out and some of the rides are amazing.I would like to go there on a ghost hunt I do not think that you would be able to go on the rides at night i think that it would just be the castle that you would be allowed in during the investigation.

I contacted them they wanted £1000 for the night and the numbers they were allowing were a little restricting, as you say its just the castle but if you are prepared to pay a fortune for your investigation just because Most Haunted have been in there, then why not. They have no dates until next year though Laughing

I have to say this is one place ive never been but the kids have and they loved it would be good to investiagate though.

cant we go for the day and get ourselves locked in sort of by accident? Shocked

They stay open late for Bonfire night, we could sneak round a few places then, and get some fireowrks thrown in too Exclamation

bit hard when listening for spooks if fireworks are going off, as we found out at belgrave hall last diwali

Dont no if anyone has been on this ride but it is inside the castle and its called HEX. Its a really scary ride and it starts you off by watching a tv screen and looking at the history of the park and when it was first built. The tv thing was really interesting. They said that ghosts walk the castle and a knight is seen headless! pale

Now i would really like to go and investigate that one!

oooh!!! i've been on that ride.... is it the one where u sit facing each other on opposite sides of the room and looks like the room is spinning?

Its really good but it feels like your tipping forward/backwards and spinning!
Did you watch the tv thing before you went in?

yeah i did because we had to wait ages to go in as it was mega packed on the day i went!! theres a thing at warwick castle thats about ghosts and its supposed to be mega scarey. I saw a video about it and a news reporter was like "oh im not scared" and you could hear him screaming because things were jumping out at him!!! lol bloody wimp!!

The tv thing before Hex was scary. It showed you photos of Alton Towers when it was first built and the people that use to live there. I bet theres a lot of ghosties there pale

My friend went to Warwick castle and she said that was very spooky. Myself and the hubby are taking the kids there in the holidays. Cant wait to have a look around

I love this park but then again i love theme parks so all the rides are brill to me.

Yes we could but we have to have at least 20 people as that is a minimum with 50 being the maximum.

I think it is about £50-£60 each.

I love this place! I found my lost youth and bravado at 30 *ahem* and went on as many rides as I could after years of being a wuss (still hate the pirate ship though) and I love hex! It would be a brill place to investigate and I would like to go one day. I love the old building anyway and the story on the way in is pretty freaky. I had the feeling of the area where you queue as once being a very busy place (back in the day) and picked up a little on how it may once have looked. Brill place!

only been once - many years ago when the corkscrew first came out, i was tricked into going on, needless to say i have no contact with those involved - i like my breakfast to stay where it belongs - i will go but i always end up being the bag lady.

i love alton towers, its great!! i would love to go on an investigation there especially go and see the tree that has the chains on it but im not quite sure where abouts it is!

I watched the *whispers* Most Haunted from Alton Towers the other night and I was dead chuffed as David Wells was telling how he could feel a certain room was very "processional" which came from the other side of a door. On the other side was.... the main entrance (where you queue for Hex) and the start of the "procession". I picked up on this the times I had been in there, and also got the impression of a dark male lurking around who wasnt very nice that David mentioned too. I was really chuffed!!! Very Happy

I went here a few yaers back and got funny sensations in the castle area where you cannot go not that i did but i was tempted.

I love Alton Towers too!

I can't wait until we go and investigate there. It will be so erie at night with no one on the rides and dead quiet. Are we gona go to where the tree is?

Wow what a great place we have already got a list for a return visit next year.

I cannot beleive what happened all the people got affected in some way even people that had not previously. there was a very friendly atmosphere and some friendly spirits come through to us.

Thank you to all the people that made it possible and I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Cannot wait to read this report I think that it will be quite long considering at one point we split into three groups.

Each group had the same experince at the same parts which I think was amazing.

just watched the most haunted version....gotta say think we had the better time, there didnt seem to be much happening to them.

Really enjoyed last night!
