I think it would be.
Just be prepared to pay out a lot if you go for a visit. It costs you £3.80 to get your car into the grounds (which you need to as the house is miles from the main road) and the another £8.50 per adult to look around the house and gardens.
The house is great. Although some of the viewing areas for you to see into some of the rooms are very small and you could spend a long time just waiting to get a look in.
The gardens and church are well worth a look around too. The church has a lovely stained glass window which looks clear from the outside.
I do think it would be an amazing place to investigate with it being so untouched inside. The public only have access to a very limited part of the house during the day. It would be really great if we could go into some of the undisturbed areas on an investigation.
