| This i thought would interest people so i have added it to the forum as most people when you meet ask what you do for work.
People are getting to know people quite well on here but nobody has mentioned work yet.
So what do you see yourself as or do you like your jobs,or could it be a means to an end.
Would you like to do somebody elses job.
There are so many questions and there could be so many answers.

| I am a primary school teacher in Spinney Hill in Leicester. I am currently working in year 4 with 8-9 year olds. Its not a job I love, but also its not a job I hate. If I could do anything I would be a mechanic, but not sure I'd be able to get buy on the reduced pay

| Well ive done many jobs but at the moment i am a museum assistant and also the city councils resident medium. It is a job i love and i could not ask for anything better.I get to do all things interesting and alot of it is behind the scenes which is very interesting.
Ive done sock knitting for at Wolsey for 14 years too long.
Ive also worked on the market which i can say i enjoyed in this role i sold from fruit and veg to ladies underwear. Yes that is right i even had to messure ladies bra sizes.
Ive worked in a florist as my family owned one and i know how to make bouquets and wedding bouquets and wreaths.
I have been a carer for my children for a few years while they were not old enough to go to school.
My pay is ok but it could be better but i enjoy all things and you only make things what they are yourself. | |

| they do say that variety is the spice of life - if i could offer anyone advice on career changes it would be go for it! my dad always reckoned i was too thick and stupid(his actual words)to make anything of my life! i always worked hard for my cash and then had my kids thats when i realised there was more i wanted, i didnt want to be a part time employee and someones mum so with the support of my huby and especially the kids i went to college and followed my dreams. after 7years of study i am now in the job i always wanted to do. so if you have a dream go for it the rest will work itself out. | |

| Well as some of you may know i work at tesco petrol station where i shout at customers, read papers and generally do naff all lol. only joking. Started work life out in factories, biscuits, knitwear and leisure wear. Bored for the past twenty years. And then i found tesco and hey ho ive never looked back haha!! Would really enjoy it if the petrol prices didnt keep coming up, and the customers moaning. I would love to find a real worth while job. But tesco does for the time being. | |

| bet you see some funny sights though. i used to work as a telephonist for BT and some of the things i got to hear was brill - 1 woman couldnt get hold of her husband, she was working away and her home phone was engaged - i tested it for her to see if it was off the hook - when i went in on the line i heard her husband having a very good time with someone else - off course i told her he was busy, not my place to interfere! | |
