REFERENCE LIBRAY.
We started the night in a different location to the last time we came to the library, due to light nights we chose to go to the darkest place.
Boiler Room.
Down a very steep staircase down deep in the basement sits the boiler room, down one side of the wall sits a medium size hole in the wall, what’s this for you may ask but we don’t know .As soon as the lights went off we all felt a cool breeze swirling around the room with one or two people feeling the sensation of being touched. As one gentleman filmed with his video camera, lights flickered around the walls and shadows could be seen .There was a loud noise behind us all and it was caught on the tape. A couple of people saw a face on the stair case with eyes also being seen, as soon as Lee climbed the stair a waft of air shot by him. He then got out his EMF meter and walked around the room. Once he got to the bottom of the stair case, it went berserk. There was a strange smell down in the boiler room, a sweet smell and also at times a smell of gas swirled around the room.
The storage room.
This area contains a large area of bookshelves and rolling stacks, only used by the staff. We split up into groups around the room, where some people complained of earache, itching and feeling sick, where others were feeling cold and others boiling hot. Lots of shadows were seen in-between the rolling stacks and a noise of ladders being moved. We then got separated into doing lone vigils around the other side of the room, Lee constantly checked on us and after a number of people complained of feeling sick he swapped some around. It was then he noticed he was being followed by a black figure or as what lee thought was an old war soldier, others thought was a copper man, and when he walked by a big gush of air then followed in his wake. A loud bang was heard by a couple of members of the group as lee walked by them. Lee also felt the sensation as if he wanted to march up and down the room, this perhaps ties in with the war soldier.
New Room.
We never visited this room before so it was a newbie, total darkness just the way we like it. As soon as we turned the lights off people got touched on various parts of the body, we got bangs on demand from upstairs and every time one lady got touched wooden broom handles flew off the shelf behind where she stood this happened four times in a row. Also whistles were heard as many other noises.
The Stairs.
We only spent a short time on the stairs during our tour in the light a lady felt her legs give way at the top of the stairs. When we sat on the stairs a couple of people had the feeling of falling.
First Floor.
Some of the people did a glass séance on this level and produce some interesting results a couple of them were very similar to the results we had the last time we went, considering they hadn’t gone last time this was very amazing. The correct name came out again too. Some others went to the other side of the room where they felt burning in one particular spot and also got the smell of burning.
Top Floor.
As soon as we entered this room shadows were seen through the book cases also Lee saw an arm wave over the top of them. Most of us sat around the table with our hands placed on it, no sooner had we done this the table started vibrating, this never occurred last time so it was quite unusal.Two of the people who sat on the edge of the room noticed lights darting across the fireplace.
Ground Floor.
This was the floor we decided to do our table tipping. A group of us stood and sat around the table as soon as our hands were in place the table shot across towards Lee and another lady, next it started vibrating .The table then started to rock violently as people were calling out questions, it moved forwards and backwards a number of times. Whilst continually rocking a number of people witness Lees face change into what appeared to be a werewolf, what was strange about, you may ask? Yes it was a night with a full moon. During the experience one of the ladies appeared to taken over by the grief a lot of people felt around the table and burst into tears. While all this was going on we could hear shuffling noise and movement as someone was walking round watching us.
AND FINIALLY.
Well what another interesting night at the library, will you be brave enough to go next time, ask anyone who went and they will all agree an experience not to be missed.
