I've not been a member of the forum for too long, and so I'm at the need to be asking questions stage.

I've already asked some and got some interesting answers. But now I have another.

As some of you will of read in other posts that I've put on here, I have as a child experienced seeing apparitions that quite frankly I freaked out at, and the appearing to me stopped.

I have always sensed things, witnessed things moving/ opening / falling and had dreams that have come true in a round about way. I often feel things, cold spots / breezes / and smells..but that is all that I have witnessed or felt for a long time.

Until lately when I experienced something totally different in our house ( again as you would of read in my thread )

Now this time at Evington, I actually saw an arm reach across to tap someone on the head..and I didn't freak out, infact I was really excited that I saw it.

Down in the Cellar was a different kettle of fish. I felt someones fingers touch my face ( they felt hard and stumpy ) as they then tugged my hair and then felt the hand touch my arm as they withdrew their hand when I did freak out.

I have been to Evington on investigations all three times and this was the only time that I have had this happen there..usually the same old same old ( cold spots etc ).

Does the fact that this time I saw something and felt something physically touch me mean that senses that I had obviously blocked out as a child, are opening back up to me ????.

It could well be and also thing happen at certain times as it is like you said you do not normally come down here so because you did this time then this may be the reason why it happened.

I was wondering if maybe some of these senses ( if thats what they are called ) could be opening up to me again.

I guess that as I'm getting older that I am perhaps coping with things a bit better than I did as a child..wasn't that brave in the cellar though was I !!!.

One of the reasons that I asked the question is because I think that I have possibly seen someone in our house.

Now I've been saying for a long time that I think I'm brave enough to now be able to want to see who is in our house...as long as I don't just turn around and they are right behind me .

Well, in our living room on the fire breast we have a very large mirror. I was looking at it a few days back..before going to Evington..and I think that I saw a head and shoulder shadow of a man walk by the living room door.

It was very fleeting and so I'm not a 100% sure that what I thought I saw was what I think it was..hope this makes sense.

I didn't panic I was a mixture of being stunned and slightly excited of the prospect of maybe seeing someone.

So when I saw the arm and felt what I did in the cellar, it is just an add on to what I think I had happen at home.

Don't think I'm too ready to be prodded and poked yet though.

So this is where my question about possible senses opening up to me again has come from.

Also, forgot to mention at Evington. That a Hall that Norms boss owns has been having some paranormal activities.

They apparently had a paranormal weekend there not long back. Think it's called Rushton or Rushdon hall, but can find out and see if they would let us do an investigation there..if they do would you be up for it ?.

that would be excellent as we are always looking for places to investigate or if you could get me the name of a person i need to contact.

Also a history and what has happened would be good aswell.

I'll ask Norm if he'll see if we could go there and if so to try to get some history of the place

I know his boss only bought it a year or so ago, and Norm was one of them that helped renovate it.

It is now a hotel manor house and has lots of weddings and other banquetes and stuff there.

As soon as I know anything I'll pm you with details.

The owners of it have a building company that go under the name of Hazelton Homes.

Their names are Tom and Richard.
