There have been reports of monks and soldiers walking through the woods, people have witnessed black figures drifting in and out of the trees.
Parts of the wood have been associated with witch craft in the past and there are stories of murder and disappearances over the years.
Some years ago there was a story of a ufo abduction happening around there.
