Yes it is and if you ever get the chance do try do go,mind you like we say to people no two nights are ever the same so we might not pick up so much the next time we go but as we are back there monday night i will let you know.

Fantastic report guys and you are so right in the fact that i dragged you both out of the mayor parlor there was no way i was staying in there with the chance of Lee getting channeled with only me and Steve in there with him..

And anyway was not expecting anything to happen when we went back in there so when it did i about peed my knickers and if i was not a stronger person i could have started smoking or drinking right there and then..

But if it happened again now i would not be so spooked by it and would more than like speak to the sprits present

Guildhall mini report 22nd December 2008.
Great Hall.
We did the usual walk around the room to see where we felt drawn too. We also did the physic test with the Zen cards. A couple of people were drawn to the stairs and a couple of people went onto the stage. We sat in a circle and it went freezing cold along one side of the circle and also inside the circle Lee went round with the emf meter and it went of the scale inside and outside of the circle.
Mayors Parlour.
Most people sat around the table with a few of us sitting around the room, Lee also put two people in the room leading of from here. Showers of stones were thrown around the room and also shadows could be seen walking around. We had a person lying on the table and we were asking for the spirits to try and move it, which it did. a couple of people were having angry feelings which resulted in our legs shaking violently and it was really hard to stop. Lee was channelled in here by a William Herrick who like the ladies and it was him who had been touching them, he also told us he liked us being there.
Cells.
A few of us sat in the small cell and the rest of them sat around the table doing glass divination, we had a few strange smells in here and one lady was touched. The table was quiet so Lee went to join them. We tried table tipping and got the table to move and lift up. We once more tried the glass and this time we got one of the gentleman to ask the questions and the glass reacted straight away to the man and he got the name John Isaac who associated with the cells we got a lot out of this spirit and it wasn’t until we were back in the safe room we found out that the gentleman’s name was also called Isaac how interesting was that.
Library.
We didn’t spend a lot of time in here but we did let the people experience the feel of the resident ghost.
Jury Room.
We finished the night in here doing transfiguration, its amazing how many peoples faces change when spirits show them selves. Lee joined the group and was channelled in here by Lucy who often visits with us and tonight she brought a new friend called Ida who if you gave her a penny she would do anything for you. We also had a Father Matthew who wanted to bless us all because we needed it which was quite scary as we wondered why, he did shout a bit and he banged the table getting us to listen to him.
Once again a lot of things happened and a good night it was. Looking forward to doing the next one.

Guild Hall 30 January 09

The evening started with Lee giving a talk on the guild and the equipment he
uses on investigations, with the lights on the group did a walk round the
building. In the mayors parlour we put the cross upright on the leather
chair situated on the far wall.

The Main Hall

As we all entered the main hall Pam and Marie were the last to arrive as
they passed the door to the Mayors Parlour, they not noticed that the door
which was closed on the walk round was now open. Lee asked the group if they
had touched the door to the Mayors Parlour they all said no. The group was
asked to stand in the room where they felt drawn to, as the group settled
down it was noticed by a couple of people on the stage that the balcony door
to the jury room was part open. I went up to the jury room with two others
from the group to check the room and close the door, the main door to the
room was closed. We went in to the room and closed the balcony door and put
the chair back that rests against the door. When we returned back down
stairs we were told that as we were going up stairs the balcony door
continued to open wider before we entered the room. Lee went around the
group to see why they were drawn to the spot they were standing, some of the
group felt cold spots and another lady had her name whispered in her ear. We
gathered in a circle and Lee opened up the group, as the people were
standing still with linked hands sounds were heard which sounded like chain.
People were experiencing a drain on there batteries to torches and
camcorders. The group was asked to go and stand where they now feel drawn to
it was noticed that in the last few months people are now drawn to the
stage end of the room. Pam could see a gap of light in the balcony doors and
a shadow looking through the gap. Lee asked the group why they were now
standing in the place they now feel drawn after being opened up, a lady said
that a man she was with felt the need to cry. Lee moved to the back of two
ladies and used the E,M,F meter to take reading which gave off a positive
sound to indicate an energy source with the two ladies. He then moved to the
stage and used the meter again which again indicated an energy source. A man
who sat at the table and chair was given the crystal ball to look into, Lee
sat the group on the chairs in the centre of the room to do a psychic
experiment using cards with symbols on in envelopes and placed on the chairs
Out of the group on the first experiment only four were correct on the
second experiment seven were correct. The third was to see how many spirits
were in the building when Lee first arrived which three people were correct.
Lee then split the group who are seated to form an inner and outer circle
with linked hands, the man who was still at the table felt stupid but he
could see in the crystal ball an orange weird shape with a black cloud and
triangle shape with a white dot in the middle, lots of people were now
felling draughts and breezes moving around them. Lee confirmed to the group
that what was seen in the crystal ball was Lees spirit guide and this does
not come out very often and Lee felt a cold chill run through him. Lee
continued with the two seated circles to try and build the energy, some more
noises were heard and a lady had some thing blow in her ear. We decided to
have a break at this point………

The Mayors Parlour

Some of the group sat around the two tables in the middle of the room and
the rest sat on the benches by the window and the back wall. We checked the
cross on the chair and it had not moved. A gentleman was talking to Pam
about when his mother used to work at the Guild and when she would feel very
sick and how she used to hear the sound of sword fighting in one of the
rooms. Lee asked for the volunteers to go and sit in the room at the back of
the fire place and a lady to lie on the table . With the torches off the
investigation began, Lee walked around the room to settle things down and
make sure every one was alright. A man said he could smell boot polish near
where he was standing, shadows could be seen walking past the gap under the
door at the top of the small stairs. Lee saw an orb pass at the bottom of
the double doors and the room began to get darker. noises were heard near
the door and a stone was thrown in the same direction. Shadows were seen
near the window and another stone was rolled along the floor. Lee asked for
the other volunteers to go into the condemned cell. A couple of the group
could see a light above the table, Lee joined the group at the table and
began to ask out for the spirits to touch some one in the other room. We all
put our hands on the table and the tables began to move and lift off the
floor, Lee asked every one to link hands so no one was in contact with the
table. The tables continued to vibrate and move. A lady called Belinda began
to feel very cold and started to shiver uncontrollably, it was clear that
she was not in control and began to start shaking Lee asked if she was
alright and stood behind her to take control and move the spirit back from
her. When Belinda was feeling better and wanted to continue Lee sat back
down at the table. Lee asked Pam to fetch the two people in the cell to
rejoin the group, It was not long before the table was moving again and a
lady had her hair touched. Lee was channelled and a spirit called William
came through. he did not want to give us his name at first and shouted out
at the group Marie asked if he was a surgeon he said no, a lady asked a
question and Lee spat towards the woman. We asked for a date and he came out
with 2009 and then laughed, we asked him to give us his name again and he
said William, John then James and laughed some more. He said he was in the
wrong place, I asked what the rooms behind the fire place were used for and
he said “ private “. A lady asked a question but got no answer, I then said
women should be seen and not heard and William agreed and laughed again. We
asked what monarch was on the throne and he said “ Charles “ he went on to
say he did not support the king. I asked if he took part in the civil wars
and he said “ no “ We asked some more questions and Lee came back at the
same time we heard a door slam shut and the spirit was gone. Lee decided we
would not get no more and we went for a break………….The people who spent times
in the cell and the other room never picked up on any thing,
I checked the cross and it hadn’t moved so I turned it up side down before
we left the room .

The cells

In the cell were two tables with a glass on each we split into two groups
and sat down to do glass divination, some of the group who did not get to
sit down went into the first cell. I sat on Lees table near the fire place
and we turned out the torch and put a finger on the glass, the glass began
to move but was very weak. We tried the glass for a short while and decided
to have ago at table tipping. We all place our hands on the table and the
table began to move to the side then lift up on one edge. The table
continued to move then lifted completely off the floor, as Lee moved his
hand across the table towards a lady who was sat on the end of the table the
table jumped to the side pushing the lady away from Lee. He repeated moving
his hand towards the lady and the table jumped again, a man who was watching
tried putting his hand towards the lady and the table jumped again I also
tried and got the same response. We found this very interesting as the lady
was being protected from the males at the table. We decided to swap over the
group to allow others to have ago, I went into the cell with five others. We
asked out for a spirit to join us but got no response, we then decided to
have ago on the other table and have ago with the glass. We asked out and
the glass was trying to move we kept asking for the spirit to try really
hard and the glass started to move, I asked if any one had got any names and
Belinda said “ Isobel “. She then started to feel very cold and began to
shake, she then was channelled by Isobel and the leaped onto the table and
lay across it. A lady asked did she know what year it was an Isobel said “
no “ she was then asked was she a prisoner here and she said “ yes “ the
lady then asked how many children she had got which was more than five,
Isobel began to get distressed and started to shout and to my relief Lee was
on the scene and bought Belinda back we all needed a break now …………

The Library

In the library the group stood around the large table Lee showed the group
how to feel their aura, as we were stood around the table a stone was thrown
down the room. Lee continued to go round the group and touch their auras,
the group was then shown the resident spirit who sits it the chair at the
small table and were asked to see if they could feel his presence. We only
stayed in the library a short while as time was limited…………

The Jury Room

The group sat around the large table in the middle of the room with others
watching from the sides, Lee asked Belinda if she was ok to continue as she
had already been channelled early on in the evening. The group linked hands
and Lee opened up the group at the table again. Lee left the circle and
walked around the room looking for changes in the groups faces, a lady at
the end of the table started to look really old and so did the man next to
her. Lee rejoined the circle and was then channelled, we asked for his name
and he just looked around the room. He then began to point dragging the lady
on his right with him and shouted “ you ,you ,you and you “ he continued to
look round he then said “ he should not be here “ he then said “ thief and
he stole jewellery “, the spirit said that the thief was called John. He
then began to scream pockets pockets him him there, we were told that John
was a pick pocket. The spirit would not give us his name but he was a
policeman, the spirit soon went and we were joined by Lucy who was giggling
and laughing and saying “ give us a kiss and I will tell you my name “. We
did learn that Lucy wasn’t married and Ida and Jemima wasn’t with her, we
asked how is Jemima with the spots Lucy laughed and said they are all over
her. I said wave the flags and Lucy moved her hand to wave a flag, Lucy was
with us no more and Lees face went serious at the same time Belinda started
to be channelled as well. The spirit with Lee would not give us his name but
said “ you know who I am “ Belinda was frightened of the spirit with Lee and
said her name was “ Mary “ and it was him who put her to death as a witch.
The spirit with Lee started to shout at Belinda and was pleased with her
being put to death and began to laugh, Belinda became more upset and the
male spirit laughed even more. Lee was back with us and the spirit was gone
Lee called Belinda back and closed the group down…………….The cross was
collected from the Mayors Parlour it had been checked before we went up
stairs and had not moved but on collection the cross was lying on its side

Guildhall 30th January 09


Lees bits that steve missed

On the walk around in one part of the mayors parlour both Steve and myself could smell ether and later on Pam said that she smelt it while we were in the vigil in this room, we did not mention this to anyone so nobody had any idea of what we could smell and we did not want to influence them in any way.


Great hall


Most of the people here tonight were new to this and had never been on a ghost watch before. Some of the people could sense things around them and others even felt psychic breezes. The person who sat in the chair was a sceptic at the start of the night things would soon change for him, this was because he would witness something that nobody else would know other than me and then later on in the night we would capture it on camera also.

The mayors pralour

People were being toched and a shadow was seen constantly under the door toward the stage, about half way through this vigil we could hear a kind of scraping as if something was being draged.We also heard footsteps upstairs. Two people who went into the room adjacent ot the mayors parlour heard a knock at the door before they came to rejoin the group. the lady who cot channelled in here said she could smell something and as everybody started to breathe in to smell a couple of people said that they could smell a hospital kind of smell this is when Pam mentioned that she could smell Ether to us, this was the same smell that both Steve and i had smelt earlier but this time it was with the Lady who was being channelled yet before it was on the other side of the room around two other women.


Cells.

As the group split into a few groups and another couple of people would go into the cell I can only say what happened at our table. First of all the glass divination proved very weak so we all tried table tipping, it soon started to move swiftly around making people jump at first. We would have a male with us for a start then a female. The female with us seemed to be Mary the witch with whom I had met before. The interesting thing was that tonight we had another practicing witch with us although we did not know at the time. Mary seemed to take the glass to her and it was not long before I put two and two together, I asked the lady if she was a wiccan she told me she was, this is why Mary had come and just to make her presence known. The lady thought that she could smell horses even making a horse sound which made us all laugh. The table jumped and came off the floor people changed places and still it happened but it was not consistent as usual only happening when certain people were talking. A few sighs were heard in here but although nobody said they were doing them we cannot be sure if anyone was heavy breathing. A few people felt very sick.



Library

This is where one person took a photo and looking at it you could see my spirit guide above me, the colours were even the same colour as the man who said what he could see in the crystal ball in the great hall. He thought he was being silly until this proved it for him as he was a total sceptic before all of this happened.


Jury room

As I came out of trance the lady called Belinda who had been taken over twice already had been channelled again. She was just coming around and was very tired. This was a very active night with spirit interacting with each other.

A good evening was had by all.

I would also like to add, i had to change the battery in the dictaphone twice it went from full to turning its self off and i had no more batteries..

on looking through the video i took i did see 3 moving orbs the best in the Main Hall which flashed at the bottom of the screen and again at the top...

the video of Lee as the policeman is a must to see. will get it to Lee to see if he can add it to the video page..

Great report! Hope I get to see that video..would be ace! When Mary appeared for the second time and Lee was also being channelled, before we knew it was Mary, we asked Lee who it was and he shouted across the tasble, 'you know who it is'. I said,'who knows'?, and he said, 'you do', at me. It was really aggressive and ace..I loved it! Cannot WAIT to do Guildhall again, but I'm running out of friends to bring so may come alone next time..lol

that is ok because you know some of us now and the rest of us are friendly too.

I did my first vigil with my daughter and then I have done all the others on my own. They are a really friendly bunch

The Guild Hall 27th Feb
The evening began with Lee giving a small talk on the building and the equipment he uses, the group did a walk round of the building with the lights on and returned to the safe room for a break.
The Main Hall
With the lights off the group was asked to go to a point in the Hall where they felt drawn to, Marie noticed that the Jury room door had opened which was closed on the walk round with the lights on. Lee went up stairs with a couple of the group to close the door and found the outer door was also open, back in the Main Hall we linked hands and were opened up by Lee as we stood in a circle a chink sound was heard and was heard again on request. The group were asked again to go and stand in the Hall where they felt drawn to. The group stood around the Hall and were equally spread out around the Hall, one man knelt on the floor and a lady behind felt as if she wanted to chop his head off. Lee used an E M F meter which indicated the presence of a magnetic energy, Lee moved through the group with the meter which indicated again the presence of an energy force. In the middle of the room were some chairs set up in a circle with two chairs in the middle, on the two chairs in the middle were envelopes. The group was asked to sit down and two volunteers to sit in the middle, on the cards were a symbol and the group were asked to guess which symbol was on the card. The first test only a couple of the group were correct, on the second test a few more got it right. The third test was to see how many spirits were in the room which again only a few were correct, we decided to go for a break and a couple of people stayed back to video the hall.

One lady could see a flashing light across the table, a man asked to be touched which made the group laugh then a small hand full of stones were thrown on to the table. A lady said that her belt had come undone then more stones were thrown on to the table, Lee bought the two ladies from out of the small room to join the group, then Lee joined the table and asked for hands to be put on to the table, with all our hands on the table they started to move apart. Lee asked us to hold hands around the table and a whistle sound was heard, again the tables begun to move Lee went quiet and was channelled by a spirit called William, who shouted out then started to laugh. A couple of people could smell tobacco smoke, I asked if William knew Mr and Mrs Jennings which he said “ yes “ I then said we had met with Mrs Jennings which William said “ witch “ I then asked if it was William who was throwing the stones and he said “ no “ a man asked if it was Williams tobacco that he was smelling and he said “ yes “ a lady in the group said some one was tickling her neck then William just laughed, then the lady said some thing has just pulled her hair. We then asked who was with William and he said Roger, Pam asked why is Roger hear and William said he wants to be. William shouted out cut his fingers off, a man asked if he had money which William said “ cause I have money “ he went on to say that he was Mayor of Leicester. He would not give us Rogers other name and the date was 2009, the questions I was asking went un answered but he did respond to some of the group. He went on to say that he did not mind us being there and that Roger had stolen his ruby ring and he wanted it back. He then went on to say we all looked like dwarfs, across the table Lee looked very tall in the shadows. William said the ring was the one in his painting, I asked if he knew of the Cradock’s which peaked his interest because he wanted to know all about them. William said he was married and his wife does not come hear. We heard the door bang closed which William said Roger was gone, he then asked if we had shoes on then Lee was back. We then decided it was time for a break.
The Cells

After trying for a while glass and table were having none of it so I took five others in to the cell with the door closed we waited after a short while a lady said some thing had touched her hand, a draught was felt then the lady was touched on the face we spent a short time in the cell then swapped over with Lee to try the other table and glass. After trying both glass and table we had nothing to report, we all tried hard but could not get a response. So we went for a break.
The Library
In the Library Lee showed the group how to feel their aura, he went through the group in turn feeling their auras and then they were shown a spirit which sits at a desk.

The group sat around the table and the ones who did not want to take part sat on some chairs by the window, the group at the table all linked hands and Lee opened the group up again, Lee left the circle to see the changes to the faces and appearance of the group at the table. As we walked around we could see a lot of changes to some of the group, Lee rejoined the circle and was channelled. The first to come through was a man who would not give us his name all he said is “do you want a piece of me “ and was then gone, next to come through was Lucy who wants a kiss. We asked Lucy what is her surname which she said Brown Marie said “ juicy Lucy Brown “ which she loved and said “ you kill me “ we asked her for her age but she would not say, she was here for a good time and was shocked to be called a lady of the night, she did not know the mayor of Leicester and said the year was 1871. I asked if she was going to wave the flags for Queen Victoria and she nearly dragged a woman off her chair, we asked if she had a boy friend and she said “ lots” . Lucy was soon gone and another spirit came through called John he said that “women should not be here “he was asked if he was a judge and he just grunted, he was asked why he was here and he said “ trial by fire “ john wanted the women to leave and said “ burn the bitches and he racy “ John continued to look round the room and said “ he’s gone “ we continued to ask for a full name which he said “ masked warrior and batman “ which made the group laugh, John was talking very quiet un till he said he wanted us to follow him to the gallows and then laughed out loud. He then told us his last name was Jeffries, I asked why did they lock him in the tower and was it for his protection. John said it was for their protection, he was locked in the tower for too many hangings and he was too power full .Due to the time getting on we had to call Lee back and end the night, Lee closed the group down and we left the room……..

On looking round I could see no one had moved. A lady said she has got the name doctor and another lady opposite said I want to say scalpel, Lee stopped the investigation as he knew if the surgeon was with us it could cause some problems.. we paused the investigation and went for a break.

Four members of the group went in to the first cell, we heard a couple of screams and one lady came out and said she was touched on the face two times and she wasn’t staying in the cell. I went in to the cell with a few others but no one felt any thing. We changed over with Lee and went on to the other table, people were asking for the glass to move which crept across the table and stopped nothing else was to happen on the table so we went for a break..

The Library
In the library we noticed that one of the chests which are opened and the lids hold the curtain against the wall was closed, could this be the loud bang noise I heard one of the lids being pushed over. In the Library Lee showed the group how to feel their aura, he went through the group in turn feeling their auras and then they were shown a spirit which sits at a desk.

The Jury Room
The group sat around the table and the ones who did not want to take part sat on some chairs by the window, the group at the table all linked hands and Lee opened the group up again, Lee left the circle to see the changes to the faces and appearance of the group at the table. As we walked around we could see a lot of changes to some of the group, Lee rejoined the circle and was channelled. The first to come through was a man called James he said he was the high sheriff and was counting the councils money, next to come through was Lucy she was very drunk and wanted to give every one a kiss. Lucy was soon gone and a spirit came through who would not give us his name, I did recognise his attitude to women and called out the name John, he laughed and began to look around the room. His name was Judge John Jeffries we asked why he was locked in the tower, he said it was for their protection and went on to say that he had a couple of grey hounds as pets, a lady said the name Lee and John was gone, Lee was back . He closed the group down and we called it a night………….
Conclusion …..The night was fairly quiet, the loud bang heard at the beginning could have been any thing. To me it did sound like the cell door I have heard before, as for the chest lid it might have fallen due to the angle it was resting at. The mayors parlour was also quiet with only a couple of stones being thrown and the table only moved in one direction. I am convinced I did see some one get up and I did hear foot steps. The cells again were not very active and we did get a new name of James in the jury room who was the high sheriff, which was interesting as it was the day that the Leicester town sheriffs changed over.

Verdict ….The night was not as active as it can be we did get some interesting things and I would have to rate this investigation a 5 out of 10

The evening began with Lee giving a small talk on the building and the equipment he uses, I was sat at the back and at the beginning of the talk I heard a loud bang which echoed. The group did a walk round of the building with the lights on and returned to the safe room for a break.

My friends and I were sat on the table in the middle of the safe room, directly in front of Lee. When Lee was giving us a talk about the building and the equipment, my friend commented that she could see the colour yellow surrounding Lee. I said that I too could see a colour, but that it was orange. My friend also stated that she thought a yellow rose was connected to Lee in some way. A crystal ball was shown to the group, and whilst one of my friends stated that the only thing she saw was that the ball was a 'purpley colour', I was able to see the picture of a blonde haired lady in it. Later on, when we returned to the safe room for a break after one of the vigils, we told Lee about what we thought. He confirmed that yellow was one of the colours in his aura, and that a yellow rose was connected to his spirit guide. He also stated that the colour orange was strongly linked to his spirit guide. I described to him what I had seen in the crystal ball in detail - he called one of his colleagues in from the other room, and asked her to describe his partner. She described Lee's partner precisely the way I had, and precisely the way that the picture had appeared. How intriguing!

During the walk around the building, with the lights on, the spookiness had already began! When my friends and I were stood at the top of the stairs, just outside the Jury Room, my friend stated that she had felt something brush her hair away from her face, and she did not like the sensations she was experiencing! Lee also told us a story about when one of the investigations team was on her way up to the Jury Room when she was suddenly pushed down the stairs, being thrown against the window, and incurring injuries. I think he mentioned that this story had been in the news - I have tried to find it, but can't, so can anyone assist? I'm completely obsessed with the paranormal since this night (which was my first of this kind!) and want to read everything there is to read...

The Main Hall
With the lights off the group was asked to go to a point in the Hall where they felt drawn to, it was noticed that the Jury room door had opened which was closed on the walk round with the lights on. I went up stairs with a couple of the group to close the door and found the outer door was closed, back in the Main Hall we linked hands and were opened up by Lee as we stood in a circle a loud bang sound was heard and a faint sound was also heard, the sound was heard again on request. The group were asked again to go and stand in the Hall where they felt drawn to. The group stood around the Hall and were equally spread out around the Hall. Lee used an E M F meter which indicated the presence of a magnetic energy, Lee moved through the group with the meter which indicated again the presence of an energy force. There were two chairs in the middle, on the two chairs in the middle were envelopes. The group was asked for volunteers to sit in the middle, on the cards were a symbol and the group were asked to guess which symbol was on the card. The first test only a couple of the group were correct, on the second test a few more got it right. The third test was to see how many spirits were in the room which again only a few were correct, we decided to go for a break.

My memory of this room is slightly different..... When we were asked for the first time to go and stand where we were drawn to, I stood on the balcony, near the corner, and another female member of the group stood about 3ft away from me. We both commented that our hearts were pounding and we felt dizzy... then a few minutes later I told her I had returned to normal, and she confirmed that she had to, at the same time. Were we being affected by something? My friend, stood at the rear of the hall, commented that she disliked where she was stood, and Lee confirmed that she was standing near the spirit of a guard. When we were asked for the second time to go and stand in the hall where we felt drawn to, Lee commented on how we were not spread out as groups normally tend to, and that we were not equally spread out. He said he would tell us more about this later, and what it might mean... but I forgot to ask when we returned to the safe room. Any ideas??
Also, a lady stood on the stage said she felt like she had developed an 'attitude problem'. Lee said that this was interesting, as this had happened to someone before, and that he would be interested to see what else happened with this lady later on in the evening... nothing did though, so what did Lee mean?
One of the ropes on the door leading from I believe the Mayor's Parlour started to swing on its own, and was witnessed by several of the group. Lee said that he had been told "Well come in here then" (or something along those lines!) and was apprehensive about entering the Mayor's Parlour.
When we were asked to guess symbols, as I recall, on the first test only one person guessed the correct symbol, and on the second test, only one person guessed it correctly again, the same person as before.



Anyway, have completely ran out of time now, but have loads more to add and questions to ask... will post more later so watch this space!!

The Mayors Parlour
We sat around the table in the middle of the room and others sat on the benches, a lady who had volunteered lay across the two tables and two other ladies went in to the room at the rear of the fire place. With the torches off the investigation began, straight away a noise was heard near the door , it was not long before a stone was thrown at the far end of the room near the fire place, a sound of shuffling was heard from the corner and another stone was thrown. One lady could see a flashing light across the table, as one lady was talking a gagging sound was heard. Lee asked if any one made the noise which every one said it was not them, Lee asked the two ladies in the small room if they were ok and they said they could see a shadow of some one who was very small like a dwarf watching them. Lee bought them out of the small room and they sat on the bench, the table started to move so every one took their hands off the table and linked hands, the table again moved and was getting closer and closer that we had to move our chairs back. from the corner of my eye I saw some one get up off the bench and walk round the back of me, I did not pay any attention at first as I thought it was one of the group. On looking round I could see no one had moved. A lady said she has got the name doctor and another lady opposite said I want to say scalpel, Lee stopped the investigation as he knew if the surgeon was with us it could cause some problems.. we paused the investigation and went for a break.

The two ladies in the small room also said they saw an ear, and a nose... which is quite odd. I don't think they liked the dark too much, particularly as they kept putting their torches on, and they would be told to turn them back off again! In fact, another friend of mine said she was scared of the dark, but was told she had come to the wrong place. It was jolly dark in there... but where myself and two of my friends were sat (on a bench on the left of the room and directly behind my three other friends who were sat at the table) there was a patch of light on the floor. Of the friends I was with, one lady was so scared that she had her eyes closed throughout the whole experience just in case she saw something walk past the patch of light on the floor, and it's a good job she did. The other friend said she could see something standing in front of her (it was her who later had the word 'doctor' pop into her head), so I looked over and could see a very tall black shadow standing about 2ft in front of her. The figure looked like it was wearing a black coat of some sort, and I thought it appeared to be carrying something.. I whispered to my friend next to me that it reminded me of Jack the Ripper. At this point the figure moved, in front of my two friends, right in front of the patch of light, and seemed to move over to the left corner near the fireplace. When it moved in front of the light, I could still see through it, so it was not a solid object, and did not appear to be a simple shadow.
Another strange occurrence was that the room appeared to get darker very suddenly - flashes of light could be seen near the stairs, and also above the table.
Stones were thrown at one of my friends who was sat at the table, and who was attempting to communicate with spirits. A stone hit her shoulder. Whilst another member of my group, who was sat next to her, said she did not feel any stones hit her, when we got up to leave the room at the end of the night, it appears that she had been sitting on two small pebbles and did not have any idea of how they might have got there.
A spirit called 'William' also came through, as well as the 'doctor' who we established was a grave robber... at the time, the group thought that William and the Doctor were the same, however, I am not so sure.....
Lee did decide to call a night (apparently this was only the second time that he had done this) when it appeared the doctor was present... he told us some pretty scary stories about previous occasions where the doctor had visited.
I don't remember seeing the camera guy (Steve?) in the Mayor's Parlour though - correct me if I'm wrong?

PS Would really love to see footage/pictures from the night - where can I get these? I wish I'd taken a few of my own!

The Cells

In the cells we split in to two groups, Lee went to the table near the fire place and I sat at the table near the door. We all sat down and had ago at glass divination we all asked out but could not get the glass to respond, we then tried table tipping but again the table failed to move. We tried for a while the glass and table were having none of it. Four members of the group went in to the first cell, we heard a couple of screams and one lady came out and said she was touched on the face two times and she wasn’t staying in the cell. I went in to the cell with a few others but no one felt any thing. We changed over with Lee and went on to the other table, people were asking for the glass to move which crept across the table and stopped nothing else was to happen on the table so we went for a break..

When we were split into groups, myself and my friend Melanie were on Lee's table. Two other friends returned to the safe room, and did not do any further vigils throughout the night. The glass whizzed round and round in a circle quite violently, and it appeared to respond to questions. We established a name for the spirit, which was 'Mr Simpson', whose profession was a tailor, and he said he had visited his father in the cells (unusual for a visitor who was once to be visiting once again??). The table tipping was an incredible experience - one which I would love to do again. The table moved so vehemently, that when I have explained it to some sceptics, commented that they though it could be animatronics/hydraulics - after listening to them, but still having the memoirs of the whole experience lodged in my brain, I remain firmly on the fence, although I would not call myself a sceptic in the slightest. Whatever it was, the corner of the table ended up pointing straight into my tummy, and when I asked for the table to be moved away, it slowly went in the opposite direction. At one point the corner elevated right in front of my face, and the table also tipped on it's side. The name Mary also came through.
After the table tipping experience, myself and two other friends went into a cell. I sat on the bench, with a lady I didn't know to my left, and a friend to the right. A few people said they could smell something pungent, like urine. The one thing that I am utterly convinced of is that something, and definitely not someONE, someTHING touched me on my forehead, and subsequently stroked my hair. My friend said that if it was a child, it could touch her - something touched her on the knee, however, it could have been a 'human being' who did this, as opposed to what touched my head!
Someone left the cell, after which point everyone could smell disinfectant. The cell door began to rattle. I thought about oranges - Lee said this was interesting, why? The cell door then opened by itself... and we all decided it was time to leave.

The Jury Room
The group sat around the table and the ones who did not want to take part sat on some chairs by the window, the group at the table all linked hands and Lee opened the group up again, Lee left the circle to see the changes to the faces and appearance of the group at the table. As we walked around we could see a lot of changes to some of the group, Lee rejoined the circle and was channelled. The first to come through was a man called James he said he was the high sheriff and was counting the councils money, next to come through was Lucy she was very drunk and wanted to give every one a kiss. Lucy was soon gone and a spirit came through who would not give us his name, I did recognise his attitude to women and called out the name John, he laughed and began to look around the room. His name was Judge John Jeffries we asked why he was locked in the tower, he said it was for their protection and went on to say that he had a couple of grey hounds as pets, a lady said the name Lee and John was gone, Lee was back . He closed the group down and we called it a night………….
Conclusion …..The night was fairly quiet, the loud bang heard at the beginning could have been any thing. To me it did sound like the cell door I have heard before, as for the chest lid it might have fallen due to the angle it was resting at. The mayors parlour was also quiet with only a couple of stones being thrown and the table only moved in one direction. I am convinced I did see some one get up and I did hear foot steps. The cells again were not very active and we did get a new name of James in the jury room who was the high sheriff, which was interesting as it was the day that the Leicester town sheriffs changed over.

This is the room where I initially thought the most would happen... but it is the room that disappointed me the most. Admittedly, some of the faces and figures around the table did appear to change, however, the moonlight was conflicting with my contact lense smothered eye balls, and I felt like it was just the darkness playing tricks on my eyes... one particularly funny moment was when the young man opposite me appeared to be shrinking - he then confirmed that actually, he was slinking down into his chair, and his coat was smothering his face (out of fear perhaps!?).
'Judge John Jeffries' came across rather menacingly - and rather chauvenistic. He did sound a little like Darth Vader...
I'd be really interesting if anyone can tell me any more about his connection with the Guildhall?

In fact I would love it if anyone has ANY history on the Guildhall... what a fascinating place! I can't wait for the next Ghost Watch, and hope to be visiting Wygston House shortly.

some interesting points and some were explained on the night but no there are not any hydraulics as your co friends would put it and oranges, as people have smelt this before.

Steve was sat at the table near the fire side.

The smell of disinfectant has been smelt before.

In the jury room the light has nothing to do with the transfiguration and the changes you see are the spirit coming forward.

Judge Jefferies would have no doubt visited the guildhall at some point being a sessional judge but when we do not know.

There is so much that we do not know and cannot find out and the only way to do this is by repeat investigations and different groups that come up with the same suff come from all over Britain. The following night we had another group from central england who came out with exactly the same stuff that you had the previuos night. There is no way that they could have known about it as we have only just put this up. yet the doctor and the judge came out but through different people, one of these people had never been channelled before and it took 6 people to hold him down and he flew (yes flew) across the table toward me. The Judge wanted me gone as i knew too much and the first thing he said to us all while he was looking straight at me was you i had enough of you last night now see what i can do
So this is how you build up a picture of things that happen and did happen.

The more you come on the more you will see.

I cannot remember the date but it was about 5 years ago and i know that we had a big ghost watch the night after and if i remember right Pam had her photo took in the cell.

The lady with the attitude problem i thought may have been channelled by Lucy but as you have said it did not happen, shame as i knew she was with her in the great hall.

When the groups are opened up they usually move more toward the back of the hall and take a dislike to the stage area but when you are not open you tend to move toward the stage area due to the fact that when you are open your guides are preventing unwanted spirits from being around your aura.

The second test 5 people got it right and the third test 4 people got it right overall there were 10 people who got all three tests right in total.

As Steve has put in the report that this was a quiet night at the Guildhall and you need to do it again but some interestings things came out.

thank you for adding so many extra's to the report - I feel with your additions that this is a much more accurate record of the night. I would really like it if everyone who came could add as much as it would be really informative if so.

As I have mentioned to lee seperately - I think I was one of the most scared people he has ever had on his tours! My contribution in the mayors parlour was mostly a panic attack induced request for fags!!

I must add that of all the events I thought `I would find the table tipping the most rubbish/staged - but that I was really convinced by. The table really lifted up in front of me - and i knew for sure it was not to do with me or those around me. If it was lee of the aa inc team - they had very specialised equipment is all I can say as i can see now way it was hydraulics! But believe me - if I go again I will be double checking!!! lol I felt very calm in the cells, and much more in control.

The mayors parlour scared the bejesus out of me - as I know full well I saw a very tall man in a long coat stood in front of me. I also KNEW it was a doctor, as at the time I was so sure,but so scared I asked my friend Annie who was asking out to ask the question as I knew it was right! I have also become clearer after the event of long coat the dr was wearing- which I wonder if is my over active imagination????

I was also pretty spooked in the great hall- as when I was under the stairs (when Lee saw the guard near me) I was freaking out so much I think I spooked the girl next to me!!!!!

Basically - I cannot wait to go again - but I sort of hope as a believer, I can apply my after the even scepticism to the next one to make me believe even more iykwim!

sooooo - Lee & co - brace yourselves for sceptics inc!!!! But - if someone throws a knife at me I am going home!!!!!!

ps - just to be clear - my sceptacism is meant in good faith, and anything worth scrutiny expects challenge! So, we are with you - but don't accept blind faith!!!

No it is good to be sceptical and I can assure you that the council will not allow any such activities and we would be sacked on the spot if it were true that we were messing about, but i can also tell you that is what the association with parapsychology means the scientific side of the paranormal this is to say that after all avenues are exhausted and you cannot find any answers then it can be determined as paranormal.
I have letters after my name regarding this subject and I would not have got them if it was not deserved.

If you want to see a table move then go to wygston house because you stand around the table and you sometimes have to run. this way you can see all around and underneath the table at the same time, it is awsome.

The judge on the other hand is known as John as most of the time he is incognito.

He would have bee known as Baron Jefferies to most people but in session would have used lay names.

The other thing is that a report is one persons perception of the whole night and without them we cannot recall any information to build up facts, Just as a journalist is for the paper but each person has many different veiws, for instance if we all went to see a concert, we would all come away with our own veiw of the concert. This is the same as an investigation. This is why, as you have said it is really important for people to write as they remember it because so much happens during an investigation that the reports would be pages if we were to list everything.


It may seem quite strange but Mediums are the biggest sceptics that are around because although they beleive they have to look for all the possible explanations before they come to the word paranormal.

If you hear a voice or see something you use rational explanations before even considering it being spirit. this is because we live in the scientific world, but through investigations and verification it all becomes more clearer.

The more you come on investigations the more you will learn and trust the people that are with you.

The fact that you came on a public one, it is so easy to point the finger because you do not know everyone and yes even i do the same, so i could point the finger at you. But I also know that this happens and has happened even before you or any of you had ever been here it was happening even before i was here and that is why i started working for the council because they approached me because of the said phenomena that happens continuously on a day to day basis.

This is the good thing about our society because on private ghost watches that you can come along to you will learn to trust everyone who is with you because anything can happen and usually does but when you least expect it.
